Room Magic, a new company in children's furniture and accessories, presents seven children's bedroom collections inspired by Matisse and a child's lively imagination: Bright, whimsical "cut outs" of tea cups, kissing fish and playful lizards animate brightly colored and natural finished birch wood designs. The designs have been so well received that Room Magic received a Pinnacle Award by the AAFD American Association of Furniture Designers.

Karen Andrea, a graphic designer from Santa Barbara, started designing furniture for a very practical reason: her 5-year-old daughter Sarah needed a bedroom set. "Sarah and I could not find any children's furniture that was like a child - fun, bright, bold and imaginative." explained Karen. "All the furniture we saw looked like miniature adult furniture, the colors were lifeless and the motifs were cliches". With daughter Sarah's ideas as an inspiration, Karen Andrea looked to create furniture that brought the magic into a child's room. Room Magic now has to seven collections, in themes for boys and girls, complete with furniture, accessories and bedding.

• Coordinating bedding fabrics are original illustrations by designer Karen Andrea and made of 100% cotton for extra softness and easy care. All fabrics are made in the USA.
• All collection knobs and finials are silkscreened art for color and quality, and are interchangeable with another collection "finishing kit" if you want to "redecorate".
• With an eye for safety, all drawers have safety stops and metal drawer glides. Drawers are well-constructed for extra sturdiness. All toy boxes have safety hinges. Their cribs are child safety tested and US certified.
• Their designs are modular: Their 5 Drawer chest has a removable changing table tray on top that can be taken off when your baby grows older.
• Their Crib Magic easily converts to a toddler bed so toddlers can play in the plexi-glass windows of their bed.
• Their Loft Magic™ is a bed, a dresser, a playroom and a desk... all in one.
